GO SPIKE LEAGUE FOR 2017 UNDERWAY

Weymouth ‘Go Spike’ league for 2017 got underway yesterday evening with 36 players taking part in the two levels of competition.

In the A Series Craig Bishop and James Tagart defeated Elliott Sawyer and Jaffa Williamson in the final.

Meanwhile in a closely fought B Series Liam Tewkesbury and Sam Groom defeated Becky O’ Neill and Sofia Gonzalez 15-9.

The evening began with an excellent one minute applause for  Event Director Lyle Harmon Beglan

This week was a little complicated at the beginning   and both sections had to be readjusted at the the last minute  because many teams turned up only just before the 6.30pm cut off. If you know you are going to be cutting it fine please can  you send an e mail to weymouthbeach@yahoo.co.uk before 5pm and we will reserve you a place.

COACHING: From next Wednesday May 17th we are going to run coaching courses equivalent to both levels on a Tues. This will be from 6-8pm and will cost £2.
