CLASSIC 2017 ENTRIES ARE OPEN

For the first time for many years entry to the Weymouth Beach Classic will be completed through the Club website and not Volleyball England. It couldn’t be easier to enter- go to Classic 2017 tab and then Entry Form

The Classic very much remains as part of the VEBT but for admin purposes it was decided that this year it was easier for the Classic to handle its own entries.

On the Entry form there are 3 different events that you can enter:

MAIN DRAW: This is a 5 Star  GRAND SLAM event   for the top 16 Volleyball England ranked  teams  and a 4 star event for the next 16 in both genders . The decision on which starred event you will compete in will depend on your National ranking when the entry closes in July. This event  will take place over Sat 29th and Sun 30th July. Teams will be in pools of 4 on Sat and then there will be positional play off matches for all teams on the Sunday.

2 STAR EVENT: This  will take place from 2pm on Friday 28th July  and is for teams who are not competing at the weekend and is seen as a developmental tournament. There will be a maximum entry of 16 teams for both genders in this event and will be done on a first come basis

JUNIOR EVENT: This will take place from 2pm on Friday 28th July. This is for players Under 18 on 30th Sept 2016. There will be a maximum entry of 16 teams for both genders in this event and will be done on a first come basis.
