2017 CLASSIC PLANS CONFIRMED

The 2017 Weymouth Beach Volleyball Classic supported by RAF Careers will take place over the weekend of 28th-30th July and is promising to be the most exciting yet.

Volleyball England have restructured the Beach tour so that all events are classified from 1 to 5 star and the headline event at the Classic will be one of probably  just 3 5 star Grand Slam events taking place in England this year.

Running parallel to the 5 star Mens and Womens 16 team events will be both  Mens and Womens 4 star competitions which will give teams who have just missed out on a 5 star place  at Weymouth the chance to qualify for the next Grand Slam.

A team winning the 4 Star event will score as many ranking points as the 9th placed side in the 5 star competition.

There will also be a a 2 star competition taking place on Friday afternnoon
