EVENT UPDATE  27/7/10

  • Entries for mens and womens draw are now closed, go to the latest news page for a full list of entries and qualifiers for main draw

  • TRAFFIC: Weymouth is preparing for the Sailing for the Olympics, as part of that a whole new Traffic plan is being put in place. This means arriving in Weymouth during the day is very slow. If you are playing in the qualifier expect to take 45minutes from Dorchester to Weymouth Minimum. It should be relatively easy on Saturday am.

  • PARKING: We have parking tickets available on a first come first served basis for two car parks in Weymouth, although these do not guarantee a space. These can be collected from the marquee on site.

  • Dont forget check in times are from 1pm on Friday and 8am on Saturday.

EVENT UPDATE 24/7/10

  • If you are thinking of camping in Weymouth for the Classic dont forget there are no camp sites within 5 miles of the event site. However if you use our links page you can find some sites around the edge of the town. We suggest that Bagwell farm, Sea Barn Farm and Rosewell Camp site are as good as any.

  • If you are looking for Band B or hotels you can be within a few yards of the site so again use our links page and look for low numbers on the esplanade

EVENT UPDATE 21/7/10

  • Due to the size of the entry there will not now be a qualifier for the women. All womens teams will compete in main draw on Saturday. mens qualifier begins at 2pm friday

  • Dont forget VEBT regulations state that matching shorts must be worn. This will be enforced at Weymouth

  • Seedings and teams to pre qualify for main draw will be placed on the latest news page of this site on Monday 26th July in the evening.

  • FOR ACCOMMODATION, SEE LINKS PAGE ON THIS SITE ( low number addresses on The Esplanade or Brunswick Terrace are within serving distance of the volleyball site)

  • For current entry list see Latest news page

  • Return to this site for more updates in the final week.
